We are lived experience leaders, focused on social change and collective hauora.
We are specialists in participatory action research and co-design in mental health and addiction spaces.
Strategic change for public good by those who need it most.
We have extensive experience in user experience-led evaluation and peer-led best practice development, with over 12 years of experience in whānau-focused advocacy and peer support provision.
Our projects are grounded in tikanga Māori and peer-support values of whanaungatanga, manaakitanga and kotahitanga.
We believe that whānau and community have their answers, and it is our role to collect and elevate whānau wisdoms to guide strategic reform of mental health provision, as determined by those who need it most.
We have an unwavering belief that whānau are experts in their own lives, with their own solutions.

Unapologetic lived experience leaders, hell bent on getting it right for our people.
It is our responsibility to leave the world a better place.
We have first-hand experience of some significant hardships that people are facing: poverty, violence, intergenerational trauma, distress, addiction, adverse childhood experiences, and disconnection from culture.
We also have the privilege of university educations, professional backgrounds and networks required to elevate the wisdoms of those gone before us, to protect the futures of those yet to come.
We are focused on challenging outdated or inappropriate systems that perpetuate harm. We promote the active protection of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity-focused systems designed to protect hauora and enhance life outcomes .
